Infractions Requiring a Mandatory Hearing

Infractions Requiring a Mandatory Hearing

Pursuant to Florida Statute 318.19 Infractions Requiring a Mandatory Hearing, you must appear in court when you receive a ticket for:

  • leaving a child unattended in a vehicle
  • an accident involving serious bodily injury
  • accident involving a fatality
  • speeding 30 miles per hour or more over the speed limit

This means that you cannot simply pay the fine. If you don’t appear your driver license may be suspended. We can still appear on your behalf.

How we can help with a mandatory hearing ticket

If you were cited for an infraction requiring a mandatory hearing we can still appear on your behalf. Most of the time you do not have to sit in court and wait to be heard. We can work with the  hearing officer to get you the best outcome. We also review your case for any possible grounds to dismiss the charge, and we can take it to trial to protect your driving record. Don’t take these charges lightly. Contact us today.
